Impressive Video about the Third Sector

There is a video out that is specifically about the impact of the third sector in our country.  It is very well done.  I think people who are not familiar with the 3rd sector’s impact will be impressed.  Let’s get people’s attention  and pass on this great work by Philanthropy Reports.

    Informative wake up call about non-profits and the contributions they are making. I work for Gap Inc. the parent company of Banana republic, Gap, Athleta, Old Navy, Outlet and Piperlime. I am proud and amazed at the work we do as a corporation largely based on the values of our founders, Don and Doris Fischer. Thanks for sharing the video Beth

    Great point, Mary Ellen. I remember when I first told my mother years ago that I was the new Executive Director of a nonprofit, she said, and I quote, “is that a paid job, Beth?”

    Great video! Educating folks that nonprofits are corporations is so important and so misunderstood. Often ‘non-profit’ is reduced to a perception of an entity that does not make a profit and is therefore not a ‘real’ business. The reality that the ‘profit’ is the production of some outcome that benefits us all is often missed. I know people who are still confused by the fact that folks who work for non-profits actually get paid.
